Bonding

Bonding is a tooth-colored material applied to the surface of teeth to close gaps and repair chips or breaks. Dr. Testerman cures the putty-like material with a special lamp and then artistically sculpts and shapes it to resemble natural tooth enamel. Bonding can be performed in a single visit and does not require tooth reduction (in most cases). This option is less expensive than porcelain veneers, although it doesn’t last as long and is susceptible to staining. Bonding works best to repair minor imperfections.
