Did you know that if you have lost teeth, you are losing bone too? When a tooth is lost, the jawbone beneath it begins to shrink. Not only does losing a tooth affect your smile, it also changes the shape of your face causing you to look prematurely aged. Dental Implants are secured into the bone to provide permanent support for crowns and dentures. If you would like to learn more about how dental implants restore and maintain your natural youthful smile, click here.
Testerman Dental now has a new 3D imaging scanner that is designed specifically for dentistry. This helps us to diagnose from accurate, undistorted, one-to-one images, which results in greater diagnostic accuracy and greater diagnostic confidence. At Testerman Dental we believe good dental health begins in childhood. Teaching your children good dental habits now means they can have healthy teeth and gums for life. Children should begin to brush and floss as soon as they can handle a toothbrush. Your child's first checkup should take place by the age of three. Our patients who are 12 and under and are cavity-free, either after their hygiene appointment, or after the doctor has restored the decay, are eligible for our No Cavity Club Drawing.
"I have been a patient of Testerman Dental since 1951 when I started going to Dr. Woody Testerman, Dr. Gregg's father and Dr. Bradd's grandfather. I remember fondly having an appointment with Dr. Woody around Christmas time one year and seeing Dr. Gregg across the hall putting toys together for his little boys during his lunch.
My family shares in the three generation tradition as well, since all three doctors have provided my daughter, her children and me with all our dental needs. They are the best and always stay up with new technology. We have always had wonderful dental experiences and always feel taken care of!"
